Dr. Steven Meyer sees patients at Loring Hospital each Wednesday. Dr. Meyer is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He joined CNOS after his residency at the University of Kentucky, Shriner’s Hospital. Dr. Meyer received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He is fellowship trained in general orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Benjamin T. Bissell joined CNOS in 2013 after practicing at an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic for several years in North Platte, NE. He earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
Dr. Bissell practices sports medicine and general orthopedics and sees patients at Loring Hospital every other Monday, focusing on the shoulder, knee, and hip. His expertise includes hip arthroscopy (including treatment of femoroacetabular impingement and hip labral tears), complex shoulder arthroscopy, knee stabilization including ACL reconstruction, shoulder and knee arthroplasty, and general orthopedic trauma.
Prior to joining CNOS, Dr. Bissell worked with various athletic teams and at sporting events to treat injured athletes, including the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, the University of Vermont, the Sugarbush Ski Injury Clinic and the Big 10 Wrestling Tournament. He enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and four children.
