Quality/Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse Position

  •  Full Time -This position is a combination of Quality, Infection Control and Employee Health Nurse Duties.  Individual will be responsible for the development, coordination and management of the Infection Control Program, the facility Quality Program and the Employee Health Program.
  • The Quality Registered Nurse is an integral member of the healthcare team providing leadership to staff. This position oversees the coordination of department activities and guides the delivery of safe, quality service. Develops, implements, and coordinates hospital wide Quality Improvement program. Schedules and conducts QI Committee meetings. Provides timely feedback to all constituents regarding QI finding/benchmarking; this includes physicians, staff, managers, administration and board members.
  • The role of the Infection Control Registered Nurse is to promote sound epidemiologic principles to prevent the transmission of infectious agents within the healthcare system.  The Infection control nurse is responsible for ensuring compliance with State and Federal standards related to Infection Control practices. Ensure the infection prevention and control procedures meet CMS, county and state, APIC, and CDC regulations, standards, or guidelines. Has knowledge and compliance with current laws, rules, and regulations.
  • The Employee Health Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring compliance with State and Federal standards related to Employee Health practices. Implements and maintains an employee health program which meets the compliance standards of all applicable regulatory agencies and the needs of the staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Licensure: Current Iowa Registered Nurse license; Certification in Infection Control or willingness to obtain (CIC). Experience: Five years previous experience in clinical health care and preferred nursing leadership experience; Demonstrated experience in nursing practice and competence in leadership, quality improvement, patient safety, and commitment to quality evidence-based practice; Knowledge of surgical process to include cleaning of surgical equipment.




  •  Full Time Housekeeping and Laundry duties.
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry objects ranging from less than ten pounds to as much as thirty pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to safely lift and transfer up to seventy-five pounds with assistance. Reaching overhead is required.
  • Must be able to stand or walk up to 90% of eight hour shift.
  • Ideal candidate will be a team player and be detail orientated.

  • Full Time 
  • Seeking individual to do general maintenance in a hospital environment. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers and electrical preferred but not mandatory
  • Individual must have valid driver’s license and provide motor vehicle report
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 100 pounds, push and pull up to 200 pounds, stand and walk up to 75% of an eight hour shift
  • Must be able to take call
  • Ideal candidate will be a team player and be detail orientated.
