Phlebotomist

  • Full Time
  • Responsible for performing venipuncture and related procedures on inpatients and outpatients to provide accurate and quality specimens suitable for laboratory testing
  • Responsible for transcribing orders, scanning orders and filing orders appropriately
  • Requires some visits for wellness testing, nursing home, and homebound patients
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of all work related information
  • Performs a variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include capillary and venipuncture, using standard equipment such as vacutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes and butterfly needles.
  • Ensures that patients are treated safely and courteously at all times and experience the minimum of distress or discomfort throughout the blood sampling procedure
  • Interacts directly with patient to obtain information for laboratory records, explain procedures, allay fears, and elicit cooperation
  • Utilized standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification; records appropriate collection information in accordance with established protocol
  • Ensures samples are correctly labeled, put into the correct containers and otherwise properly treated so as to be suitable for the analyses requested
  • Receives and checks specimens and request forms entering details into the laboratory computer
  • Performs electrocardiograms
  • Will perform additional duties as assigned
  • Education:  High School Graduate or GED required
  • Licensure:  N/A
  • Experience:  On the job training provided

Patient Care/Ward Clerk 

  • Full Time

  • Must be a Certified Nurse Aide

  • 6 pm to 6 am shifts; includes an every third weekend rotation

  • Duties will be a combination of Patient Care and Ward Clerk Duties

Registered Nurse-Med Surg

  • Full Time
  • Weekend Package
  • Must work 4 out of 6 weekends – Friday-Saturday-Sunday- requires working two weekends 7 pm to 7 am and two weekends 7 am to 7 pm
  • Applicant must be flexible, energetic and committed to making a difference
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and have current RN licensure State of Iowa, have current BLS Certification, have current ACLS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire, have current PALS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Must demonstrate leadership, delegation skills, and professional behaviors during interactions with health care team
  • Benefit package available
  • Wage based on experience

 

Registered Nurse-Med Surg

  • Part Time
  • Both 7 am to 7 pm AND 7 pm to 7 am - Twelve Hour Shifts Available
  • Applicant must be flexible, energetic and committed to making a difference
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and have current RN licensure State of Iowa, have current BLS Certification, have current ACLS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire, have current PALS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Registered Nurse-Med/Surg

  • Full Time
  •  7 pm to 7 am

Radiologic Technologist

  • Full Time

  • Includes On-Call, weekend rotation and cross-training into CT and Mammography

  • Experience is preferred

  • EPIC System training a plus

  • ARRT and Iowa permit to practice are required

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

  • Full Time
  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus
  • Requires certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) and must meet CLIA Regulations
  • EPIC System training a plus
  • Ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated and flexible
  • Must be able to take call
  • Weekend and Holiday Rotation
  • Pleasant working conditions
