Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

  • Full Time
  • 3 pm to 11 pm shift
  • Requires working every third weekend
  • Provides personal care for patient under the supervision of RN
  • Maintains good interpersonal relations with patient, family, visitors
  • Delivers meal trays and snacks; assists patients as needed
  • Takes vital signs and reports any unusual findings to RN
  • Collects specimens as directed by RN
  • Maintains supply areas stocked

Environmental Services

  • Full Time -  6 am to 2 pm
  • Housekeeping and Laundry duties
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry objects ranging from less than ten pounds to as much as thirty pounds without assistance
  • Must be able to safely lift and transfer up to seventy-five pounds with assistance
  • Reaching overhead is required
  • Must be able to stand or walk up to 90% of eight hour shift

Outpatient Clinic Scheduler

  • Full Time
  • Position requires consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude essential
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients and general public
  • Must have clerical and computer skills, be organized, pleasant, efficient and able to multi-task
  • Duties include infusion registration, answering phones, pre-clinic preparation, preparing schedules, readying waiting rooms and other duties as assigned
  • This employee will be a member of the Outpatient/Surgery Department team and will assist other members of the department as needed

Education:  High school diploma or GED required

Experience:  Secretarial and scheduling experience preferred; medical background a plus. On the job training provided


Administrative Assistant

Full Time Position. Under direct supervision of the CEO, this position will also indirectly report to the CCO, HR, QA & IC, PR & Foundation, Compliance Officer, and Safety Coordinator. Must be an independent worker that can meet the day-to-day needs of many including clerical functions, filing, sorting, coordinating calendar activities, scheduling meetings, etc.  This employee will use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Duties performed require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, and mature and independent judgement.


  • High School or GED required
  • A bachelor’s degree or other formal education in business or equivalent in a related field highly preferred


  • Experience providing support at the executive level preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Certified Dietary Manager

  • Full Time
  • Manages and directs the food services department’s operations, administrative and financial functions.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and appraising performance.
  • Responsible to develop policies and procedures for the food services department in accordance with conditions of participation and food code regulations.
  • Plans therapeutic diets and cycle menus with registered dietitian, in accordance with the Iowa Simplified Diet Manual
  • Other duties may be assigned by your supervisor.


  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) credentialing required; or commitment to enroll in certification program within one year upon hire required.
  • Must maintain ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, or obtain within one year of hire.
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements.


  • Two to five years supervisory experience in healthcare food service preferred.
  • Two years in a commercial kitchen cooking experience



  • Full Time
  • Responsible for performing venipuncture and related procedures on inpatients and outpatients to provide accurate and quality specimens suitable for laboratory testing
  • Responsible for transcribing orders, scanning orders and filing orders appropriately
  • Requires some visits for wellness testing, nursing home, and homebound patients
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of all work related information
  • Performs a variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include capillary and venipuncture, using standard equipment such as vacutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes and butterfly needles.
  • Ensures that patients are treated safely and courteously at all times and experience the minimum of distress or discomfort throughout the blood sampling procedure
  • Interacts directly with patient to obtain information for laboratory records, explain procedures, allay fears, and elicit cooperation
  • Utilized standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification; records appropriate collection information in accordance with established protocol
  • Ensures samples are correctly labeled, put into the correct containers and otherwise properly treated so as to be suitable for the analyses requested
  • Receives and checks specimens and request forms entering details into the laboratory computer
  • Performs electrocardiograms
  • Will perform additional duties as assigned

Radiologic Technologist Position

  • Full Time

  • Includes On-Call, weekend rotation and cross-training into CT and Mammography

  • Experience is preferred

  • EPIC System training a plus

  • ARRT and Iowa permit to practice are required

Radiologic Technologist Weekend Position

  • Weekend package consisting of the hours from Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.

  • Must work at least one weekend per month but may work more weekends as desired.

  • Requires ARRT Certification and Iowa Permit to Practice.

  • EPIC System training a plus.

  • Experience is preferred.  Applicant must be willing to cross-train into CT.

  • Wage based on experience.

  • No benefits associated with this package.  


Food Service Cook

  • Full Time and Part Time

  • Hours will be a combination of day and afternoon shifts and every third weekend

  • Duties will include prepping/cooking food, operating cash register, reviewing receipts, and communicating with customers/employees

Registered Nurse-ER and Med Surg

  • Full Time
  • 7 pm to 7 am overnight shift
  • Applicant must be flexible, energetic and committed to making a difference
  • Must demonstrate leadership, delegation skills and professional behaviors during interactions with health care team
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and have current RN licensure State of Iowa, have current BLS certification, have current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire, have current PALS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
