CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Medical Laboratory Technician

  • Full time; includes weekly call and one weekend rotation per month.
  • Position serves outpatient/ER and inpatients.

  • Candidates must be MLT certified or equivalent to perform general lab duties including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation Testing, and more.

  • Preferred candidate will have a positive attitude and ability to provide exceptional patient care. Detail orientated. Experience preferred.

RN - ER/MedSurg

  • Full-time nightshift 
  • 7p – 7a, every third weekend
  • Provide direct patient care in the emergency department and the acute setting
  • Assist and direct the work of the support staff in the provision of care
  • Perform general nursing duties with minimal supervision
  • Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting
  • Must be graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Iowa
  • EPIC experience a plus
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in the ER setting
  • ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required, or willing to obtain within 6 months after hire
  • Ability to perform life saving measures, triage, and complete assessment of critically ill patients

Chief Clinical Officer 

  • Part of the hospital executive team and reports directly to the CEO. Responsibilities include: 
  • Clinical leadership: Setting clinical goals and strategies, and ensuring that clinical programs meet quality and productivity benchmarks
  • Clinical protocols: Establishing and supervising clinical service protocols and practices, and standardizing them across departments
  • Staff management: Supervising, coaching, and mentoring clinical staff
  • Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as lab, quality, and medical to promote interdepartmental collaboration
  • Organizational planning: Participating in strategic planning and helping the organization achieve its goals
  • Efficiency: Working to make operations more efficient
  • Risk management: Proactively evaluating areas of clinical risk

Patient Access Specialist Position/CNA

  • Three 12-hour shifts 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. & every third weekend

  • Applicant must have strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; CNA license

 

Maintenance Tech 

  • Two years of mechanical experience in a business environment required.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers and electrical preferred.
  • Individual must have valid driver’s license and provide motor vehicle report.
  • Must be able to take call.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds, push and pull up to 200 pounds, stand and walk up to 75% of an eight hour shift; be able to be on a ladder and on a roof top.
  • Duties will include: Landscaping, mowing and snow removal; performing a variety of mechanical, plumbing and structural maintenance duties; inspecting and repairing facilities and equipment; having knowledge of the operation and repair of a variety of types of equipment and machinery including, but not limited to, power tools, skid loader, lawn equipment, compressors, engines, pumps and generators; other duties as assigned.

  • Must be flexible and willing to learn all aspects of the kitchen.  

  • Full-time position working 5:30a - 1:30p including weekend and holiday rotation. 

  • Willing to train the right candidate

Cook

Respiratory Therapist

  • Full time, day shift.
  • Under supervision of healthcare providers, respiratory therapist will evaluate and treat cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Assess and review patient conditions.
  • Determine requirements for treatments, such as type, method and duration of therapy in conjunction with healthcare providers.
  • Provides bronchodilator therapy, breathing exercises, percussion, oxygen therapy (including BiPAP & Heated and Humidified High Flow therapy), pulmonary function tests, as well as a variety of other cardiopulmonary treatments.
  • Will cross train in areas of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of procedures, indications and contraindications involved in respiratory care, including life support equipment.
  • Educates patients about their conditions and teaches appropriate disease management techniques.
  • Must have a current respiratory care license in the State of Iowa, CRT or RRT required.
