Loring Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Jason Dierking and Dr. John Armstrong - both of Buena Vista Regional Medical Center (BVRMC) in Storm Lake - who will begin providing long term general surgery coverage at the hospital in early January 2020.

After 13 years at Loring Hospital, Dr. Ronald Cheney will soon begin focusing more of his time on volunteer and missionary work. Cheney, who joined Loring Hospital in 2006, says he will genuinely miss seeing the friendly faces he's gotten to know so well over the years.

Loring Hospital's next "Quarterly Health Beat" is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 4-5 p.m. The educational program is entitled "Flu Prevention and Immunization Information 101" and will feature speaker Nicole Wiggins, who is the infection preventionist at Loring Hospital.

Bomgaars to Host Ladies Night Benefitting Loring Healthcare Foundation

Bomgaars of Sac City is set to host a Ladies Night on Oct. 27, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. in which five percent of total sales will be donated to the Loring Healthcare Foundation. The night will include giveaways, refreshments and a twenty percent discount on all regular priced merchandise.

Loring Hospital Vendor Fair a Success - Mammogram Party to be held Oct. 29

Loring Hospital Hosting Vendor Fair to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to help spread the word about the importance of mammograms and early breast cancer detection, Loring Hospital is hosting its first-ever Ladies Night Vendor Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 5-7 p.m. The event will take place in the hospital's West Conference Room.
