Vosberg Joins Loring Hospital as Chief Clinical Officer

Rebecca Vosberg, was selected as the next Chief Clinical Officer at Loring Hospital in Sac City. Rebecca began her first day at Loring Hospital June 29th, 2017. As the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at Loring Hospital, Rebecca will provide leadership for all clinical departments and activities, supporting Loring Hospital’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare in an environment of trust and compassion. In this role, she will be a strategic member of the leadership team committed to patient care, growth, and success of Loring Hospital.
Rebecca comes to Loring with experience from a nearby 25 bed critical access hospital where she filled the role of Nursing Coordinator. She has been employed with UnityPoint thru affiliation for 9 years. Her experience includes caring for patients in the rural setting. She also has experience in assisting patient and families with questions they may have about acute care, emergency department care, laboratory care, radiology care, specialty clinic options and pharmacy care. Rebecca also helped to ensuring the patient has a positive patient expertise by collaborating care efforts within the facility. Accomplishments include completion of her Masters in Science and Nursing (MSN) degree. Rebecca’s experience also includes employment at Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, Iowa as a nursing instructor. Her passion is in rural medicine and emergency services. She enjoys serving the community as a Nurse exempt Paramedic.

After her military obligation she pursued her passion in Nursing and obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Rebecca obtained her Bachelors in Science and Nursing (BSN) thru Briar Cliff University and continued her education by completing her MSN thru Walden University in Minneapolis. She also has an Associate’s degree in Business Management /Travel and Tourism.
On a personal note Rebecca is a native of Pocahontas and has two children, Molly and Marie. She has served active duty, US Army as a Military Food Inspector. Rebecca’s hobbies include camping, boating, and being around the lake with friends and family. Rebecca also enjoys spending time on the family farm with her grandparents as well as spending time with her children at soccer and basketball games. Although Rebecca does not reside in Sac city she says she enjoys the small commute and knows in the case of a snowstorm or other weather emergency, Loring Hospital would have a place for her to stay.
