UnityPoint Health® – Fort Dodge CEO, Leah Glasgo, announced today Stacy Johnson has accepted the dual role as chief executive officer (CEO) and chief financial officer (CFO) for Loring Hospital.
“On behalf of the UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge and Loring Hospital, I am very pleased to announce Stacy as the new CEO/CFO at Loring Hospital,” says Leah Glasgo, President and CEO, UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge. “Stacy is an excellent CFO and leader who knows and understands the organization’s mission, as well as, the Sac City community. I am confident that she will excel in this dual role.”
Stacy started her career at Loring in July 2018 as CFO. Prior to joining Loring, Stacy served as CFO at WCF Financial Bank in Webster City and was an instructor of Accounting and Business at Buena Vista University and Iowa Central Community College prior to that.
During her time at Loring, Stacy has been instrumental in planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. Some of her key accomplishments include completing a year-end audit and cost report a month ahead of schedule starting a month after fiscal year end. As well as writing and implementing new financial policies and procedures and rolling out a new financial management system.
Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA. She went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA Stacy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA. She went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and most recently became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
