Loring Hospital Hosting Vendor Fair to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to help spread the word about the importance of mammograms and early breast cancer detection, Loring Hospital is hosting its first-ever Ladies Night Vendor Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 5-7 p.m. The event will take place in the hospital’s West Conference Room.  

In addition to pre-scheduled mammogram appointments, the event will include a variety of local vendors, donated items to be raffled off, snacks and refreshments, and a t-shirt fundraiser. Proceeds from the t-shirt fundraiser and raffle will go toward Relay for Life of Sac County.   Participating vendors will be on hand selling crafts, cosmetics, home décor, cleaning products, jewelry, handmade soaps, clothing, and more.  

While all are welcome to attend and shop, Loring Hospital encourages women to partake in a night of fun while also getting their very important annual mammogram. Appointments can be made by calling 712-662-6344.

Loring’s Radiology Department is also hosting a separate Mammogram Party complete with snacks and refreshments on Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. If you are unable to attend either one of these dates, call 712-662-6344 to schedule an alternate time for your 3D mammogram.
