As many of you may already know by now, Loring Hospital made the very difficult decision to cancel this year’s much-anticipated Loring Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament as we continue the fight against COVID-19. While we are sorely disappointed at not being able to hold our biggest fundraiser of the year, we are hoping you will find it within your means to make a donation to the Loring Healthcare Foundation.
Last year, the golf event raised approximately $12,000 due to generous supporters like you. Funds raised through the Foundation are used to serve as Loring Hospital’s base for equipment, services, programs, construction projects, and more. While the need for those funds remains, the health and safety of golf participants, sponsors, volunteers, and others involved in the event was top priority, which prompted the cancellation of the annual tournament.
The devotion and ongoing support of generous donors make many of Loring Hospital’s accomplishments possible. Donations of any amount help strengthen hospital programs, enhance health resources and services, keep medical technologies up to date, attract the best clinical staff, and much more.
Although we won’t be gathering in person this year, you can still make an immediate impact on Loring Hospital patients and our community by supporting our goal of raising funds for the Loring Healthcare Foundation. We believe that with your help, we can lessen the impact of COVID-19 on our mission of providing exceptional healthcare in an environment of trust and compassion.
A tax-deductible donation can be mailed to the Loring Healthcare Foundation at 211 Highland Avenue, Sac City, Iowa, 50583.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Loring Hospital and the Loring Healthcare Foundation – especially during this unprecedented time. We look forward to having you join us next year for an even bigger golf tournament event, which is set for June 7, 2021.
