Kevin Murray served 34 years as a Trustee for the Loring Healthcare Foundation. Murray resigned May 31, 2018. He began his duties in 1984 and has been instrumental in guiding the Loring Healthcare Foundation’s mission of providing financial support for large projects and other healthcare related needs for Loring Hospital. His role as a trustee has been to govern the investment strategies and activities of the Foundation, along with protecting the best interests of those who make voluntary contributions to the Foundation to support the Hospital.
Murray, a Sac City attorney and resident of Sac City, knows good medical care is essential to our rural community. For that reason he wanted to serve as a Trustee. “We have a first rate hospital and my interest was initially and continued to be to help ensure continued success,” he stated.
Murray graduated from Drake Law School in 1982, came to Sac City in August of 1982 working as an associate for Vest & Becker Law firm. He became a partner in 1984 and continued at Vest, Becker & Murray Law firm until the spring of 2006. In May 2006 he opened Kevin L. Murray P.C. He and his wife, Laura, have two grown sons, Wyatt and Ethan. Kevin is known for being an avid Chicago Bears and University of Iowa football fan.
