Loring Home Health Care Agency is a Medicare Certified home care agency serving individuals or families residing permanently or temporarily within a 40 mile radius of Sac City. Loring Home Care can be an alternative for treatment of illness or injury because professional health care is delivered right in the comfort of the home. The relaxed atmosphere with patient family, pets, and familiar surroundings can be beneficial to restore or maintain your health.
All staff are trained professionals who have the skills needed to provide care in the home. Staff work closely with the individual, family, physician and any other necessary providers to ensure care is unique to each person. Registered nurses work in the homes to carry out physician's orders and implement the care plan.

Referrals for home care come from patients, family, friends, physicians and hospitals. RNs make an evaluation visit and consult with the attending physicians to devise a plan of care. Physicians might be from Sac City or as far away as Rochester, Iowa City, Omaha, or Kansas City. An interesting trend in the Loring Agency is that Baby Boomers do not live close enough to oversee or supervise their parents' health needs so they are calling on the Loring Home Health staff.
The staff takes quality care seriously and always look for ways to improve care and services. Our local physicians have been very supportive of the home care movement and are always willing to discuss patient concerns.
HOURS
RNs are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Regular business hours are 6 a.m. - 4:00p.m. Monday through Friday.
